The Zwanenwater Nature Reserve is located in the dunes just south of Callantsoog. The nature reserve covers no less than 600 hectares. Discover this rare and beautiful dune landscape with two large dune lakes, wet dune valleys, flower-filled grasslands, marshes, ponds, heathland, and forest. Here you can enjoy the salty sea air, swaying marram grass, and beautiful views. In spring, the dunes smell of sweet flowers in the morning and evening.
